The Boston Connection
Highlighting Artists associated with the
Boston Tradition, The Fenway Studios,
The Guild of Boston Artists

We are extremely fortunate to represent several artists who are connected to a wonderful history in Massachusetts.  Many have studied at the Fenway Studios, an atelier of historical importance which is a National Landmark.  It was founded in 1905 at the height of the Gilded Age when Boston was the center of American painting.  Many of our artists who have trained there with renowned mentors, also belong to the Guild of Boston Artists which was founded in 1914.  It is home to New England's finest living artists.  We proudly highlight the work of these artists this month.  Come learn about the Boston Tradition and the lineage of the artists we represent including: Sam Vokey, Melody Phaneuf, Theresa Pergal, David Lowrey, E. Principato,  Gregory Dunham, and Nan Hass Feldman.

In that spirit, the gallery will be featuring our own artists who embrace the plein air tradition.  We highlight work by nationally recognized plein air painter Kirk Larsen and award winners Barbara Sesta, Dorothy Hoeschen, Michael Filipiak, and Dean Thomas.  Plein air painting is fresh, alive, and energetic.  Come discover the magic!
