"To capture forever joy, exuberance, beauty, and life's quiet moments amid the chaos is my ultimate goal in painting." Born in New York City, Janine Dunn Wade received her BFA from Villanova University in 1981. She has also studied abroad in Paris, Italy and Mexico. Painting mostly with pastels and more recently in oils, much of her work depicts the bucolic landscape of Bucks County. I hope my paintings "allow the viewer to connect his soul with a moment and place in time." Ms. Wade has exhibited locally at Radclyffe Gallery, Coryell Gallery, at the Woodmere Art Museum and at Phillips Mill, receiving two awards there in recent years including the 2014. Patrons Award for Painting. In Spring 2015, she had a solo exhibition of her florals at Patricia Hutton Galleries entitled "Fresh Cut." Other venues include Prallsville Mill, the Tinicum Arts Festival and the Doylestown Art League where she has won numerous awards. She has also participated in the National Pastel Exhibition at LaFond Galleries in Pittsburgh.
A large selection of Janine's floral oils are available at the gallery.
