"When painting landscapes and seascapes, I seek to capture the serenity or drama I perceive and the emotional and experiential atmosphere of that location. Each vista offers something unique to the moment it's painted Art can stimulate an appreciation for what we sometimes take for granted and serve as a catalyst to preserve it."
Kirk is a professor at Parsons New School University, a SAG-AFTRA film and television actor, a mentor, motivational speaker, an award winning writer recently nominated for Nassau County Poet Laureate in his home state of NY and a gourmet cook!
