2015 was our best year ever and we are excited to begin a wonderful 
New Year filled with special events to mark our Fifth Anniversary!

Friends of the gallery and artists enjoyed the music of composer John Sciullo and sipped a little champagne while admiring the beautiful paintings in our exhibitions.   





Congratulations to our artists for their recent honors and awards - 
Dot Bunn
Dot's Autumn Berry Vine has been accepted into the Oil Painters of America 2017 National Juried Exhibition of Traditional Oils.  One of the best known competitions in the country, OPA received 2,400 entries.  214 artists from the US and Canada were chosen to display their works.  
Janine Dunn Wade
Janine has won the "Best Oil" Award at the Philadelphia Sketch Club "Art of the Flower" Show which opens March 11.  The painting shown here, Riot of Pansies, is one available at our gallery where we carry a large supply of her florals.  
Nan Hass Feldman
Nan has been selected to be the "Art Demonstrator" at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston during their Matisse in the Studio Exhibition this May.  She was chosen for "an affinity for Matisse - sharing similar sensibilities for color, design, recognizable subject matter, love of flat space, and love of making works that are optimistic, positive, cheerful and life enhancing." 
The oils shown here: The Framed French Painting & The Geese Return to Blackfish Creek, oils on board available at our gallery.  We carry a good selection of Nan's work on board and on paper. 
Nan also recently displayed at the New Members' show at the Copley Society of Boston.  
Kirk Larsen 
Kirk has been given "signature status by the Oil Painters of America.  He received the First Place Award for his "Mood of Wonder" during the 2016 OPA Salon Show Plein Air Awards at Castle Gallery Fine Art in Fort Wayne, IN. He was recently juried in to two plein air competitions - the FL Keys Paradise Paint Out and at the Chaddsford Historical Society.

Dorothy's recent awards include:

Ray Hassard
Ray, a nationally recognized plein air artist who travels the country to participate in events, has been named to the faculty of the Plein Air Convention & Expo in San Diego, CA, and accepted into plein air events in Wayne, PA (May 8 - 13), Mountain Maryland (June 19 - 25), and Plein Air Easton in MD (July 17 - 23).  We will feature Ray and our plein air artists during the Bucks County Plein Air Festival this June 7 - 11.  
Bill Farnsworth
We are happy to announce that artist Bill Farnsworth has joined the gallery.
Bill, who came to our area to paint during the 2016 Bucks County Plein Air Festival, previously showed at the Travis Gallery.  He is a nationally recognized award winning artist who is an active participant in plein air contests around the United States. He has been recognized at these festivals with numerous awards.  He is a signature member of the Oil Painters of America, American Society of Marine Artists, and American Society of Impressionists.  Fine Art Views said of his work, "Sensitive and full of human emotion, the heartfelt work of Farnsworth takes us to inner depths."  He will be featured in June during our plein air show.

May 2019 -  I recently served as the juror at "The Art of Oscar," an art show which benefited the Oscar Hammerstein House in Doylestown.  It was an honor to participate.  The Arts Council of Bucks County and the Oscar Hammerstein Museum & Theatre Education Center collaborated for a wonderful three days of art and music.  The artwork honored the legacy of Hammerstein.  Pictured above:  Patricia at the podium presenting awards, the house known as Highland Farm, First Prize winner An Elephant's Eye by Deb Hoeffner , detail from Flower Drum Song (honorable mention) by Dot Bunn, Ruth Anderson - organizer, and detail from a serigraph Ode to Oscar (honorable mention) by Chee Bravo.

Winner of the Munn Award from the Versailles Foundation of New York, Oil Painters of America Award, Artists Magazine - Second Place - Portrait Category.  
I discovered Tamara and her work recently during her solo show at the Salmagundi Club in New York.
